Yes & I think this is the more realistic number for the majority of writers! But then again, I don’t know the exact ratio of writers who earn in the thousands compared with those that earn under a $100 :-)

How much you earn on this platform is in no way a reflection of the amount of work you put in. You could be sitting at your laptop for 8 hours a days publishing two articles per day & still only earn under $100. Should that affect your self-esteem or your self-worth as a writer? No. Should you compare yourself to others & how much they earn? No.

You should always write what you feel passionate about regardless of whether it’s popular or not! :-)
