Yes and a strict vegan diet is NOT a healthy, balanced diet. I’m sure they’ll be vegans reading who’ll want to argue otherwise but I tried veganism for 6 months & it resulted in low blood iron, feeling weak & lethargic. My doctor recommended that I compromise & try flexitarianism instead. I’m now including fish, eggs, chicken in my diet & there’s a significant difference in my well being.
It just goes to prove that while a vegan diet may be good for the planet, it isn’t necessarily good for our health in the long term.
