Welcome To The Nasty Gal Universe
How to create a swoon-worthy, rebellious look with a sustainable fashion brand…
Are you on the look out for a funky clothing brand that feels like it was made just for you? A look, style & especially a fit which is absolutely perfect? Well I’ve discovered all of this with Nasty Gal, the women’s online clothing & fashion store. Founded by Sophia Amoruso in 2006, Nasty Gal was named “Fastest Growing Retailer” in 2012 by INC Magazine. Nasty Gal is based in Los Angeles but has an Irish distributor in Co. Offaly.
Sustainability & Affordability
As well as being extremely affordable (there is currently 70% off everything online), Nasty Gal’s main attraction is the Nasty Gal Vintage collection. It features limited edition denim, dresses, sustainably sourced and reworked by the label. The look is a nod to the past but with a modern twist that is both casual & comfortable. The store also features trending items such as animal print, neon, tie-dye, athleisure & satin.
Create a Rebellious Look
Since the temptation to enter the Nasty Galaxy is so strong, I had to indulge in a bit of retail therapy myself! I purchased the Run Wild Midi Leopard Skirt for only €20.40 (everything I bought included a 40% discount). This fabulous satin midi skirt has a side zip closure & can be worn with a sweater & ankle boots or trainers for a more casual look. I wore it with a black biker jacket from Miss Selfridge.
The trend for animal print continues in 2019 & I’m currently obsessed with snake print. I couldn’t resist purchasing the Snake ’Em Down Shirt for only €20.40. It’s so versatile & can be worn with tailored black trousers as featured here or with skinny jeans & loafers.
You Can’t Beat a Wardrobe Staple
Leggings are a wardrobe staple for every woman no matter what her size or shape. I also added a super comfortable pair of Serve ’Em Legs High-Waisted Leggings for a steal at only €8.40 to my shopping cart. They literally go with everything from blazers, to shirts, to sweaters as well as for wearing underneath maxi dresses when the Spring weather gets a little chilly. Here I’ve worn it with a monochrome blazer & red ribbed top, both from M&S.
The Nasty Gal collection is all about showcasing sustainable but rebellious fashion for women who want to make a statement & stand out from the rest. Enter the Nasty Galaxy today to create a swoon-worthy look that’s perfect for you!
