My fibroids were causing me problems & affecting my quality of life for about 5 years before I had an UAE. It was absolutely life changing. Prior to that, my periods were a nightmare & I used to take time off work because I bled so much. I remember being on the bus on the way to work once & by the time I got off the bus, my panties & trousers were soaked with blood even though I had a night pad on. It was so embarrassing having to explain this to a boss who doesn’t understand what fibroids are.

I’d highly recommend getting a UAE because it’s less invasive & you’re out of the hospital within 3 days.
