I think you need to forget about your stats, earning money & being curated, it just leads to frustration. Know that many other non top writers are going through this (myself included). I definitely think writing consistently about popular topics really does help with curation. As well as having a voice that people want to come back to read every day. It’s about grabbing a reader’s attention & sustaining engagement.
