I had a very disappointing experience meeting an actor/musician at a VIP Meet & Greet that I paid hundreds of dollars for at a show in 2015. I walked up to him as he was standing on his own, complimented him on his outfit but he just outright ignored me! He just stood there staring ahead the whole time in silence like I wasn’t there! I thought it was extremely arrogant and rude of him & I was really pissed off because I had paid so much money for the entire VIP package. The problem is that all his fans adore him & see him in a very positive light plus no else reported that this happened to them. Unfortunately when you openly criticize someone that everybody loves, you end up alienating yourself.

I really do believe the saying, “Never meet your heroes because you will be disappointed.”
