Hi Kristine. Yes it would be interesting to get perspectives from Black or non-white people living in Ireland giving their personal experiences of racism here which I’m sure are many. I never said racism doesn’t exist in Ireland. I just pointed out that we don’t have a history of slavery or institutionalised racism like in the USA. We were the oppressed, not the oppressors.

Obviously I can’t speak on behalf of all Irish people but personally speaking, I hold no guilt & have nothing to atone for when it comes to racism. I wasn’t trying to be a spokesperson for my country. 😊
